The STONE Industrie dispensing/sealing monobloc is used to dispense and smooth or shrink all types of sealing capsules: tin, aluminium, complex aluminium or even PVC.
Two smoothing systems that may be combined: smoothing or heat-shrinking
To process these different types of sealing, the STONE Industrie monobloc integrates thermo or roller sealing.
For smoothing or shrinking operations, STONE Industrie sealing are equipped with 6 smoothing heads and 6 shrinking heads. They can be switched over in a few seconds by mechanically disengaging the turret.
For example, this lets you cap a batch of bottles with traditional corks and then a batch of bottles with Vinolok® caps.
In this specific case, the sealing monobloc is equipped with 2 x 6 heads (6 for aluminium sealing and 6 for PVC sealing) for a 6 000 bottle per hour capacity (1 000 bottles per head per hour).
The switch from smoothing to shrinking combined with multi-format equipment results in increased daily productivity.
To guarantee performance and safety, the STONE Industrie sealer includes the following features:
- Automatic placing of capsules on bottle necks by feeder barrel (capsule distribution without stopping the bottles)
- Safety device to prevent caps from being placed on an uncapped bottle
- Safety inserter at outlet
- Drive with progressive start of the heads
- Capsule presence control (upper metal disc) before smoothing with alarm
- Rotation speed of the smoothing heads can be adjusted from the touch screen
- Reversal of the smoothing head rotation direction from the touch screen
- Vertical displacement of the head on the bottle for better bottle stability and optimised smoothing quality
- Centering the neck in the centering cone or pre-crimper
