high speed capping turret

Thanks to its experience in the design of high-speed customised monoblocs, STONE Industrie has developed high-performance and reliable stainless steel corking turrets.

STONE Industrie corking turrets will certainly meet your needs in terms of speed, technical requirements (insertion conformity) and modularity (change of corking type from one batch of bottles to another).

Excellent expertise in cork corking

The STONE Industrie cork corking turret is designed for flush corking of cylindrical glass bottles with natural, glued, agglomerated or synthetic corks.

A single-channel lift and its stainless steel hopper lift the corks from the ground to the capper. On the capper, a cork feed channel with cells controls the cork supply and the lift servo control.

Their transfer between the channel feed and compressor is carried out either by a distribution wheel or oscillating arms (7 000 bottles/hour models).

Cork compression is accomplished by 4 synthetic jaws that do not require lubrication during production. These jaws are mounted and driven by a 316L stainless steel compressor assembly and are easily dismantled.

In addition, this solution eliminates the risk of a drop of oil accidentally sticking to a cork in contact with the liquid.

The corking cycle is carried out as follows: air vacuum, injection of neutral gas (nitrogen or CO²) interspersed, new air vacuum phase to guarantee near-zero oxygen content. The cork inserter is also electrically adjustable via a centralised control.

STONE Industrie, experts in the bottling process, ensures that the cork is properly inserted to avoid any leaks. Various checks can be carried out, notably on the filling level or cork presence before transferring it to the conveyor belt.

Wood/plastic corking made easy

With the addition of an extra corking turret, you can easily switch from one batch of bottles to another, by simply disengaging a cork or screw cork module .

The wood-headed cork is elevated and then dispensed through a downspout, before being pushed onto the bottle by several heads based on the speed.

Accustomed to satisfying our distiller customers, we can design a corking solution for any cork diameter.

Looking for something new? Switch to Vinolok®

With its growing popularity, notably in the south of France and our export markets, the Vinolok® glass cork is attracting more and more wine and spirits producers looking for a "Marketing" feature for their bottles.

Now almost essential for rosé wines, innovative for white or red wines, and trendy for organic/nature wines, STONE Industrie has the solution to integrate the Vinolok® stopper into your bottling line or your existing monobloc.

This corking system without the necessity to stop the bottle for corking, can be located either inside the monobloc with the feeder outside, or at the monobloc exit on the conveyor belt.

A stand-alone system (separate capper) can also be set up on a parallel line to handle a small batch of additional bottles.
