Operation of a STONE Industrie rinsing, blowing and flushing turret
Generally, a STONE Industrie turret for rinsing/blowing/flushing (depending on options) is also used for the internal cleaning of your new bottles:
- The standard module provides an internal injection of cold water or hydroalcoholic liquid.
This injection is carried out on the first nozzles for lengthy draining.
The "sprinkler" is in 316L stainless steel, rinse water filtration is carried out by cartridge filters.
As ecology is at the centre of many investments, a water saving device can be offered as an option. In this case only 1/3 of clean water is injected in each cycle, which saves 2/3 of the usual consumption.
- The dual-mode rinser (optional) enables the rinsing or blowing out of bottles with dried and degassed filtered air (activated carbon).
Depending on the bottle to be processed, the cycle is managed for a simple blowing or rinsing operation. In the case of blowing, the air flow rate is manageable and adaptable by the regulator for the most optimal consumption possible.
- Flushing (optional) consists of an internal injection of a recycled and filtered alcohol product (the final product or an alcohol solution) (notably for spirits) to guarantee the quality
of the final product.
For all these operations, automatic turret adjustment is dependent on the bottle size and is achieved by selection via a touch screen: electric height adjustment, electric adjustment of screw & rails.
In addition, the bottles are picked up at the neck and turned over the injection nozzles. Once the injection is complete, the bottles are tilted alternately to ensure optimum drainage.
Before the bottles are turned over to be placed on the conveyor. The drop aspiration system built into the rinsing machine pincers (rinsing or flushing mode) ensures that the last drop is sucked up before turning over so that it does not run
down the neck. STONE Industrie rinsers are also fitted with pressure control by means of an analogue pressure switch and alarm thresholds that can be adjusted via the touch screen. As an option, we can also control the flow rate of the injected liquid.
